We strive to preserve our philosophy which has always been the strong driving force to our innovative mining solutions.

We believe in solutions that are generational innovations that benefit on a longterm basis.”
Regarding rare Earths elements mining, we understand it is an extremely toxic process, hence we innovated a solution to end traditional mining processes. It is imperative to note that our rare Earths processes work so well because we can pull the rare Earths off the side of the gold and platinum production which makes the rare Earths affordable without any toxic processes.

Jeffrey Knauf Founder, Principal, Innovator, Engineer
The mastermind innovator behind the mining technology, who developed a one of a kind innovation for the mining industry and indigenous peoples seeking industry which fits their cultural values. Jeffrey is passionately curios about nature, fishing, innovation, engineering and hard work. Some his greatest influencing came from his grandparents who gave him ample freedom to figure life out by giving the freedom to understand nature and all its facets. Coming to Alaska at a young age presented endless opportunities for a passionately curious young man, “so many opportunities.” Hence, experimenting and innovating from his garage was no strange operation for Jeffrey.
By mid 2000’s Jeffrey researched and studied the traditional mining industry and discovered that he can improve the industry with modern technologies and methodologies, that preserved all natural environments from harsh mining practices that damage lands, waters, air and nature, but also perfected a technology that would allow prospectors unimaginable profits gains faster and more efficiently, where no damage is created and a safe and healthy environment during mining where the people and animals can safely and freely exercise their everyday lives and cultural activities without any worries for damages and unhealthy outcomes. Jeffrey has been living in Alaska for over 40 years, the State he has given unconditionally to for most of his life and the same State of Alaska that has both illegally and forcefully prevented his proven mining innovation technology from legally being used.
Jeffrey’s passion, love and appreciation for healthy nature and environmental mining procedures remains his focus, his mission is to bring awareness and secure a healthy mining environment that is 100% safe for animals, nature and humans. Jeffrey has innovated a technology that benefits both the environment and the mining industry, where everyone can be happy. Jeffrey is one of the most genius minds and happiest humans you can ever meet and a proud autistic.
Mark Steersman Operations Manager
Mark is our skilled mastermind production manager overseeing our daily operations with expert team leading talents.
Mark is a Portland native with a college major in English. He lived and worked in Alaska half of his adult life, dedicating half of his time in the commercial fishing industry in offshore sea factory ships on the Bering sea of Alaska.
One of Mark’s passions is business and creative business solutions. Mark has proudly nurtured three successful startups. “I’ve learned to work with the materials available to us, also the people that are available on our team to be successful. Our projects always come in on budget. Thinking outside the box is easy because I don’t have a box.”
Monte Cofield Equipment Engineer
The mastermind behind our mining equipment logistics, Monte kept our mining equipment running and healthy with a great understanding of keeping our environment safe and healthy.
Monte was a Washington native with trade certifications in various fields including electrical, refrigeration and too many more to list.
“My thirst for life, adventures, and work is what I live for. My knowledge of refrigeration and electrical work was at a masters level. My understanding of people the task at hand in the overall job completion was my greatest strength.”
Unfortunately, Monte is no longer with us due to his sudden passing. However, Montes’ legacy is very much present in our lives and innovation process.
Giselle Trujillo Creative Director
Giselle joined the team in 2025 with a background in fashion, entertainment, marketing, journalism and digital publishing.
A proud Dominican Republic native residing most of her life in both New York and New Jersey. She speaks English and Spanish fluently.
Giselle decided to join the foundation as web designer, social medias handler and creative consulting and solutions.
“My passion for this intense project is one that has driven me to join this amazing Cultural Elements Corporation Foundation. I love that we are likeminded individuals with a desire for positive changes within a mining industry that is beyond outdated with processes that continue to damage villages, cultures, humanity and animals, an unnecessary environmental disaster. I joined this Foundation, because I am convinced and confident that CEC’s innovative technology will impact global communities in a positive way. We care about our environment greatly, our people, our animals and our lands comes first. We are currently continuing with a creative approach to deliver some informative awareness content suitable for all audiences interested in gold, platinum and rare Earths solutions innovative mining technologies, this is indeed very exciting for me.”

Brother, you have physically left us, too soon and never to be forgotten. All our hard works, the great and painful times we shared, made us stronger and better, your one of a kind spirt lives on. We still tell stories, and we have to simply laugh, many times reminding us, of what a great human being you were. With great love and appreciation for everything you did during all of our projects together and grateful we are to have known you and have you in our lives. You will always be a warrior to us.
